Toner - Care+ Distilled Witch Hazel

I use the Care Plus distilled witch hazel as a toner every day alongside the rest of my cleansing routine. I started off using this every other day alternating between my Kate Somerville Clarifying toner (RP £24), and found that this was just as good. Care Plus Toner only cost me £1.99 - So its easy to see that once i ran out of my KS toner, i just went and stocked up on the care plus distilled witch hazel. I have since gone through 2 bottles and have 3 bottles of back up.

From using this i found that it made my skin look a lot more clearer, there is less break outs and if i do get a break out it clears quicker. My moisturiser sinks in with ease hence I'm using less. and last but not least it makes sure it takes any last remnants of makeup off your face.

Be careful though, for those who have drier skin types, i would use sparingly as witch hazel has the tendency to dry your skin a little, although i didn't experience any dryness, and i should think it would be great for more oily combo skin type.

I bought this at my local pharmacist after the lady recommended it to me, hence the packaging looks all medicinal lol, so i guess you can find this at your local pharmacist too.

  1. The salon I used to work in, my manager used to swear by this Witch Hazel. The bottle just kinda scared me! how do you use this? Do you just dab it straight onto the cotton wool? Or do you dilute it? xx

  2. Hey DesignerSpray yea i just dab it straight onto cotton wool and sweep over my face, just like you would with any other toner.

  4. Looks like a good product. Will keep a look out for it.

Also, wanted to ask your opinion: I know Space NK do 'Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray', which I've heard really good things about. I know it's slightly pricey though. Do you know if it's a good product, or not worth it?
