Inner Belle: Recycle & Compress - From Inglots to Boots 17 e/s

As you all know, i am a big fan of Inglots e/s and i have now quite a collection. They usually come in freedom pallets with the round slots for the pans, you can get them in 3's or 5's. Usually as i buy them i depot these pans and slot them into the mac 15 pro pallet so i have few empty Inglot ones lying around.

Didn't want to throw them away as they are such cuties fully equipped with mirrors of course. So i decided to recycle, yep ladies recycling is the way forward :)

So i spent the best part of my morning being 'creative' by depotting Boots 17 eye shadows, as i have loads of these singles. and loading them into my empty Inglots pallet.

These e/s are surprisingly good for something dirt cheap.

[How to: use a safety pin or a thin pointed nail file and slide it between the pan and container and wiggle it all the way around the pan (packaging isn't very well stuck together, thank god!) this should loosen the pan right out.]

In comparison to the mac and Inglot shadow pans, boots 17 pans are much bigger, so a little more DIY was needed.

Once i figured out how to take the circle slot frames out it was a piece of cake.

[How to: wedge a safety pin between the main frame and pan frame, then take a metal nail file(a really slim one) slide it into the gap create by the pin and pry open - it should pop out fairly easy]

I organised the shadows in the way i wanted them in each of the pallets and used double sided tape to stick these bad boys in place. (shame i don't have any magnetic strips)
