ELF Mineral Lipstick Review & Swatches

I bought these along with some ELF Studio items as soon as the line was released.

They look similar to the Nars packaging and although you may not have paid much for these beauties, they are definately not ones to shy out in public as they dont look cheap at all. one thing though, just like the Nars packaging they are prone to get rather grubby. Each lipstick contains 3.8g of product. Thats a whole 0.4 more than Nars lipsticks and 0.8g more than Mac lipsticks. More for less - love ELF for this :)

I have only 2 of the colours from the range, these are;

from left to right ripe rose and barely bitten.

I really like the colour payoff not too strong, but defo not too sheer, i have also noticed that its quite buildable so layering is cool. on top of a nude liner (for those of use with pigmented lips) its fab.

Now what i love about these lipsticks are the creamy texture and colour payoff is nice and natural looking. The lipsticks longevity is roughly around 1.5 hrs to 2hrs and again that really depends one whether ur drinking and eating i suppose. I think its defo a must have for anyone looking to branch out and try different colours, especially with the much affordable price tag, at £3.50 a pop!
